A few times in the past week or two clients have mentioned that they wish they could do yoga relax classes with me everyday, and since my planned video for this week got bumped a couple weeks I decided to record a last minute yoga video. Since I had to record it on the fly, It was recorded in my backyard by a corn field, and at least one time during the video you can hear a big truck go by and honk the horn. Sorry about that! I muted the video but when I did the voiceover somehow the background noise was filtered back in. Oh the joys of recording and editing video right from your phone!
As always, if anything doesn’t feel right for you and your body please modify – or opt put entirely. Yoga is about moving into available space, so be cautious not to push your body into places it isn’t ready to go. The hardest part about yoga is being able to throw your expectations to the side and enjoy the ride.
Anyway, It’s pretty short so I also recorded a second video that will be up next week for a little more stretch-y goodness. Enjoy!

Hiiiiii….I really need your help!! Next week I have to organise a sport lesson at school and I decide to do Zumba…but I really have no idea what songs I could use!!!
At the beginning I describe what zumba is and explane Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia and Reggaeton. Then I have 20min for Zumba class and I´d like to use this songs: la gozadera, 6am, limbo, bailando, boujé, menea la pera and fireball.
But the problem is that I have no Cumbia song!!!! So what should I do??? Cancel Cumbia in the theoretical part or have you an idea which cumbia-song I could use??? Or it´s ok to explane the cumbia steps but don´t use it in a choreo???
I´m really desperate….aaahhhhhhhhh
Ps: Sorry for the bad english and I love your blog<3
If you only have 20 minutes for the Zumba portion, you don’t really have time for anymore songs, in fact I’d be surprised if you have time for the 7 songs you already mentioned. Don’t worry about adding any others and also don’t worry if you can’t get to all the songs you wanted to do. Just do your explanation and then get through as many of the songs as you can. You’ll be great!
Thank´s for the answer. I know that 7songs are a lot, but maybe I have to do more than 20 minutes and so I´m perfectly prepared.
